Construction of a 65,000 SF ShopRite connected to a tandem 20,000 SF OTB building started after the acquisition of 7 parcels of land, consisting of approximately 5.5 acres and the demolition of the former OTB building, and the installation of necessary fixtures and equipment. Site improvements included a 557 car paved parking lot (shared with OTB), curbing, outdoor lighting, general landscaping with green area and misc., off-site development includes installation of a traffic light along Central Avenue.

 

ShopRite Supermarkets, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Wakefern Food Corp., the largest supermarket cooperative in the United States. The New Jersey based company offers a broad array of groceries, including fresh produce and meat, as well as locally sourced products. ShopRite also offers a wide assortment of prepared foods including fresh salad bars and hot food options for dining in or taking out. For the convenience of the customers to grocery shop online, ShopRite from Home will have their orders ready for pick-up at designated locations within the stores.
